Taking place over the first two full weekends in December (6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th and 15th) in historic Downtown Guelph, Spirit of the Season will bring together our community for a celebration of the coming winter season. Combining the Guelph Community Santa Parade, Santa Run, the Mayor & Council’s Tree Lighting, an indoor and outdoor Christmas Marketplace, and a storefront decorating contest, this spectacular festival will activate the Downtown core with entertainment, lights, and decoration and add sparkle to this special season.

2024 CHARITABLE PARTNER

Downtown Guelph Business Association is pleased to select Keep Kids Fed At Home (formerly Food4Kids Guelph) as the charity of the 2024 Spirit of the Season event.  Keep Kids Fedt At Home provides food packages to severely food-insecure children in Guelph, helping to bridge the weekend gap. During school holidays, the program also provides these children/families with grocery gift cards to help them buy food.

With 1 in 4 children in Ontario living in food-insecure households, the support from this community-minded event is more crucial than ever. Your generosity will help us bridge the weekend gap for severely food-insecure children in Guelph, ensuring they have access to nutritious food during school holidays. Together, we can make sure no child in our community goes hungry this holiday season.
